Mandy Moore has always been regarded as one of America's sweetheart. Many people have also considered the singer,songwriter and actress to be one of the role models of the modern generation as she was not really involved in unpleasant scandals like what any other Hollywood celebrities of her age. Now, Mandy is again showing her good side when she hosted an anti-malaria campaign last September 18, 2011 in New York.


Mandy have drawn out more than 400 guests for the Roll Back Malaria campaign of the United Nations, which is already making a big difference for the past 10 years. Guests include several heads of state, royalty as well as singers Yvonne Chaka Chaka and Youssou N'Dour.

Here is what Mandy Moore has to say:


"I think now is a really critical time to continue the momentum that this movement has garnered in the last 10 years in order to meet that millennium development goal by 2015. It's important to continue to raise awareness and to continue to raise funds and to not stop now because so much headway has been made."
