Mandy Moore and Kellan Lutz's Love Wedding Marriage

I have been waiting for the DVD release of Love Wedding Marriage for quite some time and thanks God it has already been out. I do enjoy watching it and I've something to share to you about the movie.


Love Wedding Marriage -- The Plot of the Story

Ava (Mandy Moore) is a marriage counselor whose life as a newly wed married to Charlie (Kellan Lutz) is turned upside down when she discovers her parents' happy marriage is unexpectedly headed for divorce. Determined to reconcile her parents for their 30th anniversary surprise party she stops at nothing plunging from one compromising situation to another. Will she destroy her own marriage and her professional life in her attempt to get her parents back together?


Love Wedding Marriage -- Review 

If you could browse online and see various reviews of Love Wedding Marriage, you could say that the movie is not really widely appreciated especially at Rotten Tomatoes. I somehow agree with the critics that the story of the movie is quite typical (as what you could expect from romantic comedy movies.) But, it is not that bad at all. The movie has its own style of entertaining us particularly the punch lines of different characters. The movie also shows the truth on what is happening on the reality especially for married people.

Love Wedding Marriage -- The Characters

Let me just say this straight. This is not to offend Kellan Lutz fans out there but I guess he is not perfect for Charlie's role. I am not saying that his acting is awful but I just don't think that he connects to the character of the film. On the other hand, Mandy was great in portraying Ava. I kind of notice that she really lose some weight. James Broslin and Jane Seymore were very funny in the film. I actually thought at first that Ava's father (Bradley) was gay but then again the reason for the conflict between him and his wife Betty was because of his infidelity. Jessica Szohr was okay portraying as Ava's sis Shelby.

Moral Lessons of Love Wedding Marriage

Every film has its own moral lessons. What do you think are the lessons we can get from Love Wedding Marriage? For me, Love Wedding Marriage highlights the importance of not saying lies and just be truthful. I know there are truths that can hurt other people or can hardly affect relationships but it is much better than be comforted with lies, right? Moreover, the movie also emphasized that the longer you keep your lies, the bigger the damage is. 

The most important lesson to this film is that trials and problems in life can make any relationship go stronger especially if you know what to do.
