First Official Trailer of Snow White and the Huntsman Starring Kristen Stewart and Chris Hemsworth

Kristen Stewart, who became famous for portraying Bella Swan of the worldwide hit Twilight Saga, will be featured on yet another fantasy film Snow White and the Huntsman, which will be released on June 1, 2012. She will play Snow White while the Huntsman will be portrayed by Chris Hemsworth, who played the God of Thunder Thor. Watch for Thor as he teams up with other superheroes in The Avengers, which is set to hit the silver screen next year as well. You can click here to view still shots and trailer of the Avengers.

Snow White and the Huntsman also features Charlize Theron (from the movie Eon Flux) as the Evil Queen. Enough for Robert Pattinson since Kristen's onscreen partner will be Sam Claffin, who's more good looking than him. =) Read the official synopsis of the Snow White and Huntsman below.

In a twist to the fairy tale, the Huntsman ordered to take Snow White into the woods to be killed winds up becoming her protector and mentor in a quest to vanquish the Evil Queen.

I think the movie puts twists on the fairy tale Snow White. I've always pictured Snow White as delicate whereas the poster for the Snow White and the Huntsman is pretty dark and Snow White herself is wearing a battle gear, which is quite opposite to what we generally perceive. I'm excited to watch this movie next year. For those who don't know, Lily Collins (who will play Clary Fray of the Mortal Instruments) will also have another Snow White film, which is entitled Mirror Mirror. I think the two films have their own sets of plots and twists to the famous fairy tale. I'll keep you posted about Lily's Mirror Mirror in the future. By the way, Julia Roberts will play the role of the Evil Queen in the movie.
