Making Harry Potter Characters As A Good Source of Inspiration

Yeah, the Harry Potter saga has ended last July 2011 but that doesn't mean that the magic and spells it had cast upon us will be gone away just like that. In fact, there are still Harry Potter fans out there who continue to write fan fiction involving Harry Potter characters and how they imagine them in their own perspectives while not forgetting the personalities or attributes of certain characters.

Personally, I really miss Harry Potter that's why I am writing this post. As you could notice, the title of the article is about inspiring various Harry Potter characters to make a better world or to make a better you. We, Harry Potter fans, have different views of our favorite characters and it is my honor to tell you about my perspectives of how and why we should inspire Harry Potter characters. This is not just Harry Potter himself but for other important characters as well including Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger Weasley, Ginny Weasley Potter, and among others.

Harry Potter -- The Boy Who Lived and His Courage

First off,  I will start with Harry Potter. Harry Potter -- the boy who  lived. So what characteristics did Harry have to serve as an inspiration to us? The first and most evident personality I love about Harry is his courage. If you remember at the Deathly Hallows, he sacrificed even his life just for the common good of everybody. He was not afraid of facing death. We must all be inspired with Harry. I know we have our fears but we must learn how to face it and that way we could be better. If you are bullied in schools, learn to fight for your right. We are all created equally, so why must you allow others to bully and discriminate you?

Aside from his courage, I simply admire how humble Harry is. Despite his popularity, he treats wizards, elves, goblins, etc. equally. I just love how he gave freedom to Dobby. Did you cry when Dobby was hit by that stupid knife of Bellatrix? I did.

Hermione Granger -- Miss Prefect and Her Knowledge

We all know that Hermione values her education a lot. Yes, not all of us act like Hermione does and it is a reality that there are people out there who don't even care how their parents shed their sweat and tears just to bring them to school. I pity them because education is the most important thing that could be given to us by our parents. Everything from you may be stolen except for your education. It is really hard to find a job these days because of tough competitions and believe me, it is even harder to get a career if you don't finished any degree.

Ron Weasley -- The Hero's Sidekick -- Laughter is the Best Medicine

Ron may not be like Harry who is born from a well-known and rich family or like Hermione who is given with a great brain but he is the most reliable friend of all. He is always there for his friends to make them laugh and smile despite the tough times they have. He is also a great brother to his sister Ginny. It is very natural for brothers to be protective to their sisters especially when dealing with relationships. Ron is also reliable and is willing to take any risk just for the good of his friends and family. We must be inspired with Ron in dealing with our friends and family since these two are the most important things in the world.

Ginny Weasley -- Mrs. Potter and her Girl Power

Ginny Weasley is simply the character that can be described with how great girl power is. Ginny showcases the equality between men and women. If the guys can play quidditch why not us? Ginny also reminds us that size does not matter when it comes to power. Do you remember her powerful spell that lead her to join the Slug club (a club for prominent and special students.)? Don't belittle yourself, if you think you are too small or not capable of doing certain stuffs that you really like, just eradicate those negative things from your mind. You are the captain of your ship and don't let others take that away from you.

Ginny is also courageous and faithful to his real love. It is no suprise why J. K. Rowling chose her over Cho to be Harry's real love and future wife. She completely understood why Harry broke up with her just for her safety. She is always supportive and is patient to wait for her love, Mr. Harry Potter.

Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegod -- Being Different Can Make a Difference

Neville and Luna were unique in their own ways. They both evolved and mature a lot from the beginning to the end of the book and film series, particulary Neville. Neville was always the center of Malfoy's bullies and he was not able to cast magic spells properly. However, a lot has changed since he joined Dumbledore's Army and eventually killed one of Voldemort's horcruxes, the filthy snake Nagini. Yeah, Neville can be like the ugly duckling that turn out to be a beautiful swan (if you know what I mean).

On the other hand, Luna really has a different and very unique perception and personality. She loves to talk about those unusual creations that a normal person would not like to hear at. She may even sleep walk but she is very brave and she doesn't even care about what other people might say to her. She has a strong faith of whatever she believes in. We must be like Luna for being real to ourselves and not to fake our personality just to be included in a group or just to be recognized by other people. You are who you are, just be contented with it.

Professor McGonagall, Narcissa Malfoy, and Molly Weasley -- The Great Mothers

These three ladies have shown to us how great motherly love is. McGonagall have poured all her efforts just to protect Hogwarts students, whom she treats as her children.

Narcissa, on the other hand, have fooled Voldemort that Harry is dead just to know and to secure Draco's safety inside Hogwarts.

Lastly, Molly killed Bellatrix when she almost killed her daughter Ginny with a curse. I love how she delivered the line "Not My Daughter You Bitch!"

Professor Snape -- The Great Lover of All

Professor Snape is one of the many who would risk everything just for the sake of love. He doesn't even care if others treat or look up to him as the bad guy. He doesn't even expect something in return. He simply loved and with his love, he even embraced death for Lily and her son Harry.

That's it! So, if you have any comments, don't forget to drop by and let me hear your thoughts about inspiring Harry Potter characters. Cheers!
